Birthdays:
In order to promote a more health/nutritious conscious school culture and out of respect for increasing food allergies, CHVE has a treat-less birthday policy. We will celebrate birthdays with a birthday sticker, cheer and small surprise in class. 
Please do not send edible treats for your child to share on his or her birthday. If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate his or her birthday on the last week of school.

Snacks & Water Bottles:
We encourage students to bring a healthy snack each day that is not too messy.  No candy or soda please.
For health reasons, children will not be allowed to share snacks.  Optional snack times will take place at 9:00 and after specials at 11:15.  
We would also like children to bring a water bottle to school.  Students will be able to keep their water bottles at their desks.
